Marine Outboard Motor SG announced today that outboard motors will soon arrive from Evinrude, Honda, Mercury, Suzuki Tohatsu, Torqeedo, Yamaha Motor Company in specialized packaging developed to significantly reduce overall waste and the use of petroleum-based plastics.

This will be achieved through two important changes: First, Outboard Motor is replacing traditional polystyrene foam packing material with Green Planet™, a biodegradable polymer developed by Kaneka Corporation that is easily decomposable in seawater and is made from 100-percent biomass-derived polymers.

Its unique deck design maximizes space, designed to comfortably seat people at the rear and many more in the bow area while optimizing boat stability and promoting efficient weight distribution. The AB Jet XP Series has a completely open deck free of obstacles ensuring easy mobility and a comfortable walkway. AB Inflatables smaller models compete with bow seating which can be conveniently turned into a sunbed for an even more comfortable boating experience.

I purchased a AB Jet 465 through Marine Boats Industry working with Mike Jhonson. I absolutely love the boat (my second AB) and Kevin and his colleagues were excellent to work with. Mike helped me spec the boat and kept me informed through all the COVID related twists and turns that impacted availability of certain components. He worked with me on delivery to Idaho and made the whole buying experience run like clockwork. I highly recommend Mike and the company.
